KWETU Film institutes’ students and staff are joining the rest of Rwanda and the whole world to remember the 1994, Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi.  This week the institute is taking a break to honor the victims of the Rwandan Genocide.
Films about the Genocide will be screened this week at different venues in
Kigali and we are going to be having a screening here at Kwetu Residence Inn. Both students and staff are volunteering in the screening program. People are invited to watch these movies because the content has a lot to teach us about the genocide and will be in the
connection with the 19th commemoration theme which emphasis self reliance for all Rwandans. Nineteen years on, Rwandans are looking forward to building a bright and self-reliant country without forgetting the most horrible tragedy in our history that left nearly a million people dead.
The Genocide screening program is as follows….
